KNOX, Pa. – A-C Valley/Union (Small Division), DuBois (Co-Ed Division), and Elk County Catholic (Large Division) won District 9 Competitive Spirit Titles Saturday at Keystone High School in Knox.
In addition, Karns City, St. Marys, and Redbank Valley all advanced to the state championships and will join those three champions in Hershey, Pa., Jan. 26-27.
To win the district title, each team competed against the other teams in their division. There were five teams in Small Division and two each in Co-Ed and Large Divisions.
The next three highest scores, regardless of Division, then also advanced to the state championships.

3. Redbank Valley – 71.7 points
4. Johnsonburg – 64.3 points
5. Punxsutawney – 62.9 points
