DUBOIS – The District 9 baseball and softball championship games and softball consolation games schedueld for Monday, May 27, have been postponed.
Baseball games will be made up on Tuesday, May 28, at the following times:
2A: Redbank Valley vs. Moniteau, 4 p.m. at Showers Field in DuBois
1A: Clarion vs. DuBois Central Catholic, 7 p.m. at Showers Field in DuBois
Because of those two games being moved to Tuesday, the Punxsutawney vs. Somerset that was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. is now at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Showers Field in DuBois.
Softball championship games will be made up on Tuesday, May 28, and on Wednesday, May 29, at the following times and locations
Tuesday, May 28
Class 5A Subregional: DuBois vs. Central Mountain, 3:30 at Heindl Field in DuBois (This game was already scheduled for Tuesday)
Class 4A: St. Marys vs. Clearfield, 5 p.m. at Brockway High School
Wednesday, May 29
Class 2A: Cranberry vs. Curwensville, 5 p.m. at Heindl Field in DuBois
Class 1A: DuBois Central Catholic vs. Northern Potter, 3 p.m. at Heindl Field in DuBois
Softball consolation games are now set for Wednesaday, May 29, as follows
Class 2A: Moniteau at Karns City, 4 p.m.
Class 1A: Redbank Valley at Elk County Catholic at Benzinger Park in St. Marys, 1 p.m.
