
BROOKVILLE, Pa. – District 9 basketball chairman Dave Osborne has finalized the plans for the D9 playoff games on Tuesday, Feb. 24.
In boys’ Class 1A semifinal action, top-seeded Elk County Catholic will face fourth-seeded Cameron County at 7:30 p.m. at St. Marys High School, while second-seeded Johnsonburg will play third-seeded North Clarion at 7 p.m. at Brockway High School.
The Class 2A boys’ semifinals will see top-seeded Clarion taking on fourth-seeded Port Allegany at 6 p.m. at St. Marys High School, and second-seeded Moniteau battling third-seeded Redbank Valley at 7:30 p.m. at Union High School.
In Class 3A girls’ action, top-seeded Karns City meets fourth-seeded Moniteau at 6 p.m. at Union High School in one semifinal contest, while in the already announced second semifinal, second-seeded Cranberry takes on third-seeded Brookville at 6 p.m. at Clarion High School.
The Class 3A boys’ championship game will be at 7:30 p.m. at Clarion High School.
The Class 4A girls’ and boys’ title games will be at DuBois High School. Both games feature second-seeded St. Marys vs. top-seeded Clearfield. The girls’ game is at 6 p.m. followed by the boys’ game at 7:30 p.m.
