Mr. Doverspike has served on the District 9 committee since 2009. He is the male parent’s representative to the committee. He is currently the assistant chairman of the committee.
Mr. Doverspike retired in 2017 after 31 years of service with the Pennsylvania State Police. He is also a long-time PIAA official in multiple sports.
Mr. Doverspike said the reason he wanted to be a member of the District 9 Committee is because as a PIAA registered official, he developed relationships with many of the other D9 Committee members over the years and saw what a great job they did for the student-athletes in the district.
“I wanted to be a part of this special group of people and give back to the student-athletes and schools in D9,” Doverspike said.
