Mr. Reitz has served on the District 9 committee since 2017 and served a term as the basketball chairman.
Mr. Reitz is the athletic director and boys’ basketball coach at Punxsutawney. He is a social studies teacher at Punxsutawney. He was also a highly successful girls’ basketball coach at Punxsutawney and boys’ basketball coach at Brookville prior to becoming the boys’ coach for the Chucks.
Mr. Reitz said the reason he wanted to be a member of the District 9 committee was because he enjoys working with student-athletes and promoting District 9 sports.
