Mr. Straub has served on the District 9 committee since 2014. He recently retired after 22 years as the athletic director at St. Marys.
Mr. Straub said the reason he wanted to be a member of the District 9 committee was so he could serve and provide guidance to the student-athletes and their school communities throughout District 9.
