Ms. Wolbert has been a member of the District 9 committee since 2011. She is the elected female official representative, who was elected by the female officials in the district. In 2022, she was appointed to a two-year term on the PIAA Board of Directors by the Officials’ Council of the PIAA.

Ms. Wolbert retired as the athletic director at North Clarion High School at the conclusion of the 2022-23 school year after serving proudly as the AD at the school for 12 years. She was an English teacher at North Clarion for 34 years prior to becoming the athletic director.

In 2018, Ms. Wolbert was the recipient of the YMCA Sportsmanship I Award, and, in 2022, she was chosen
by the District 9 Athletic Directors’ Association to be the Co-Athletic Director of the Year.

Ms. Wolbert said her reason for wanting to serve on the District 9 committee was the fact she had always been involved in sports in some way at the high school level.

“Being a veteran PIAA track & field official and an athletic director, running for a position on the DistrictCommittee, I found the opportunity to stay connected to the student-athletes across the
district and state and represent the officials at the same time.  I wanted to learn the inter-workings of the Committee and of PIAA to represent both groups to the best of my ability.”
