BROOKVILLE – Punxsutawney won the District 9 Class 3A girls’ track and field championship on Friday with a team score of 117. St. Marys took second with 97.5.
Punxsutawney’s Mary Grusky was named the Manners Award winner as the meet’s MVP. Grusky won the discus and the javelin and threw a meet-record 129-2 in the javelin.
