DUBOIS – Clearfield won the District 9 Class 4A baseball title with a 4-3 victory over Punxsutawney.
In a game played at Showers Field in DuBois, the Bison scored four runs in the fourth inning to overcome a 2-0 deficit and win their first crown since 2024 (4A) while ending Punxsutawney’s streak of four straight titles.
The Chucks won 3A crowns in 2022, 2023, and 2024 and the 4A title last year.
