BROOKVILLE – The Brookville boys and Elk County Catholic girls won the 2026 District 9 Class 2A track and field titles on Friday at Brookville High School.
Karns City’s Phoebe Brandon and Brookville’s Hayden Freeman were named the Manners Award winners as the girls’ and boys’ meet MVPs, respectively.
ECC topped second-place Cranberry, 62.5 to 52, while Brookville rolled past second-place Central Clarion, 151-69. It was the fourth straight crown for the Raiders.
Brandon was the Manners Award winner on the girls’ side after winning the 100-meter dash, finishing second in the long jump, and fourth in the high jump. She also ran a leg on the D9 champion 4×100-meter relay team.
Freeman won the boys’ Manners Award for the second year in a row after winning the high jump, the 100-meter dash, and the 200-meter dash.
